As our summer break is coming up fast, making plans can be tough. To help think of ideas, here is a list of films coming out during our summer break and around the time the 2024-2025 year begins.

Starting out in April, films that will be releasing are “Challenger” starring Zendaya. During the month of May, the films that will be releasing are “Kingdom for the Planet of the Apes” starring Owen Teague and Freya Allan and directed by Wes Ball, “Garfield” starring Chris Pratt and directed by Mark Dindal, “IF” starring Ryan Reynolds and Cailey Fleming and “Furiosa: A Mad Max Story” starring Anya Taylor-Joy and directed by George Miller.

The following month of June will have “Inside Out 2” starring Amy Poehler and directed by Kelsey Mann. In July, the movies “Deadpool & Wolverine” starring Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman and directed by Shawn Levy. “Despicable Me 4” starring Steve Carell and directed by Cris Renaud and Patrick Delage,

A few interesting facts about these films include the new installment of the “Planet of the Apes” franchise. It is the longest running franchise starting back in 1968. “Furiosa” is a prequel to “Mad Max: Fury Road,” and its director has directed every “Mad Max” film since the first installment in the 70s. Lastly, “Deadpool & Wolverine” marks the end of the Fox Universe of X-Men, and other Marvel Projects not produced in the MCU. It is also, potentially, Hugh Jackman’s last time playing the popular character of Wolverine.

There are many other films coming out this year that have a lot of anticipation surrounding them. 2024 has great potential to release some of the best movies in a while. Hopefully you can get a look at these in theaters.
