With spring seasons underway, many Pride teams are looking to turn the corner on their ventures throughout the year. With many teams only being able to play once or twice a week, and some playing up to three to four times a week, it is safe to say there has been a lot of action this spring for all Pride athletics. The Greensboro Collegian got to take a look into how each team is performing this spring semester.
Women’s Lacrosse
With the Pride having a hot start to the year with a victory over Randolph College 17-6, they have hit a tough stretch of games as they approach conference play. The Pride are led by perineal goal scorers, freshman Brynly ManWaring and senior Rosanna Espinosa-Ponce, the Pride looks to make a tournament push just now entering conference play.
Men’s Lacrosse

Baseball
Sitting at 13-9 overall, the Pride baseball team is certainly not indicative of their record, with many losses in close games against tough opponents. The Pride started the season scorching hot with three straight wins over Lycoming University in Truist Point Stadium, even amassing a five-game win streak throughout the process. Each batting a ridiculous .398 and .381 BA, Brody Gardner and Dominic Scavone lead the Pride into a loaded USA South conference.
Softball
With the departure of the last coach coming off a USA South title appearance, it is safe to say first-year coach, Brianna Strickland and her Pride softball players have gotten the job done so far. With an amassed record of 15-7 and many games surpassing double-digit runs, the Pride look to continue their winning ways as they enter their conference schedule as well. The Pride is led by sophomore Connell Katherine and senior Ivy Ray.

Golf
With golf just now starting their spring season, the Pride have played in two tournaments finishing 20th and 12th overall. The Pride looks to continue with tournaments in Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee as they approach conference tournaments.
