The Servant Center

Our mission is to empower the homeless and disabled, particularly veterans, to become independent, contributing members of our community through housing, healthcare, and restorative services.

The Servant Center, Americorps Partnership to End Homelessness is currently recruiting members to serve the homeless and at-risk at a variety of different sites in Guilford County through the AmeriCorps Partnership to End Homelessness. Members serve in one of 9 different sites in Guilford County performing service for our community.

Roles are currently available at:

  • The Servant Center
  • The Interactive Resource Center
  • StepUp Greensboro
  • FaithAction International House
  • Out of the Garden Project.

The Servant Center offers part-time roles at 25 hours per week (great for students!) and provides a small living stipend of $500 a month plus an education award of $2,865. This is a fantastic resume booster and a great way to learn leadership skills and get a foot in the nonprofit world.
