Working on The Collegian was very rewarding. I improved my writing skills and got experience being in a leadership role. I was honored to serve as the editor my senior year. While I was in charge, I made sure we met our deadlines. I was also instrumental in promoting the newspaper for people to read. I’m proud of the work we did at The Collegian while I was a student. 

-Jonathan Hunter graduated from Greensboro College in 2014 with a major in English & Communication studies. He received his MA in broadcast journalism from American University. He has worked as a broadcast reporter for Spectrum News in Rochester, NY and is currently a reporter and fill-in anchor at WNYT in Albany, NY.
